What it is/How it Affects Your Horse:
Colic is pain horses experience in their abdomen for a variety of reasons. It is not a disease, but it can be a clinical sign of other possible diseases. Colic differs in severity and can be cured by simply taking the horse for a walk, or in more complex cases, it may require surgery. Colic may be caused my gastric distress, a diet too high in grain, the digestion of molding or dusty hay, or a twisted segment of the intestines. Horses experiencing colic may react by lying down, rolling, looking back and kicking at their stomach, and acting distressed.

Testimonial from the owner of a horse with persistent colic symptoms:
“The biggest change and benefit is that there has been no more colic which is huge. It is so rewarding knowing that Fred is not in pain with gastric distress requiring Banamine several times a month. I was so skeptical and now my main concern is to never run out of the stuff.”

Testimonial from the owner of 6-year-old Quarter Horse gelding:
“I purchased EquiPride to test if it would help my gelding with his continuing gas colic after getting stressed in training situations. Within 10 days of getting EquiPride, he discontinued getting stressed while training and has not had any more indications of gas colic.”

Testimonial from the owner of a herd of Morgan horses:
“We had a mare named Tiffany who had a colic episode many times after eating her dinner. Because of Tiffany, I was instantly drawn to the EquiPride. We have been using EquiPride for over 2 years on our herd of 60 Morgan horses and our gas colics have dropped 95% and Tiffany’s gas colic happens only occasionally now.”
