What it is/How it Affects Your Horse:
Laminitis is a condition that results in lameness and pain for horses. It is caused when the laminae tendon holding the coffin bone to the hoof wall becomes irritated, causing inflammation. Inflammation will cause the bone and the wall of the hoof to detach from one another. The bone will then rotate in the foot, and in severe cases the coffin bone will begin to sink. At this point, the condition of such severe laminitis is known as founder. In both conditions horses will experience pain in their hooves will not be able to move about comfortably. A horse in this conditioned is referred to as “being lame.”
How Agape’s Line of Products May Help:
Testimonial from the Colorado EquiPride distributor:
“My 24-year-old mare had a bad case of laminitis several years ago. After reading an article linking a diet full of sugar and starches to laminitis, I decided to give EquiPride a try. This was largely due to the fact that EquiPride is loaded with flax and omega 3s and is starch and sugar free. After the first pail, my mare was walking in the pasture without Bute or any other medications. After the second pail, she was trotting around and was back to her old self. I immediately places all my horses on EquiPride.”

Testimonial from the Rio Neches Ranch in Texas:
“There was a horse that was on the verge of being euthanized as a result of severe laminitis. It took only nine months on EquiPride for this horse to re-grow a new hoof and fully recover.”

Testimonial from a large animal veterinarian:
“Every horse that comes into the hospital is placed on EquiPride immediately, and stays on it the entire time it is there. We get tremendous foot growth from EquiPride and it in turn improves our lameness issues.”

Testimonial from the owner of a 23-year-old horse:
“Our horse was lame in three legs, and I was thinking about putting him down. Now he is moving around beautifully. He is my 10-year-old daughter’s horse, and she has even noticed a difference. Whatever is in this stuff is working for him. Needless to say, I’m recommending it to all my friends.”

Testimonial from the owner of a mare with a foundered hoof:
“We rode the mare we had every intention of putting down last year due to the pain she was experiencing from her foundered hoof. What a ride! She was ready to go and by no means was her hoof hurting her or slowing down her pace. Thank you!”
