Can my metabolic pony who requires NSC under 11% feed have EquiPride?
We asked SweetPro’s Brad Thornberg and he replied, “The suggested amounts are 10-15 ounces and less with a pony. Also, yeast remove the starch and sugar so actual NSC (non-structural carbs) is about 2.8% (and that number reflects bound starch, which is comparable to dietary fiber), this is less than the 11% the vet mentioned.”
