Horses: Hair Growth and EquiPride

What it is/How it Affects Your Horse:
Essential fatty acids in the diet are important in maintaining a healthy coat for any horse.  Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids maintain healthy immune systems that resist skin infections and guard against allergies and inflammatory reactions. Fats in the diet will produce healthy skin, and a shine or glow of the horse’s coat is a sign of health. Lack of protein can be responsible for poor resistance to infection and slow growing coats.

How Agape’s Line of Products May Help:
Testimonial from owner of multiple horses showing EquiPride results:
“When I started my older mare on EquiPride, she still had a thick winter coat. But within 2 weeks of feeding it she had shed all of her winter coat out and had a beautiful summer coat in. Dash, my gelding, has a shinier coat and has dropped weight and gained muscle.”
-Diane via e-mail to EquiPride distributor Lisa Rasmussen

Testimonial by a large animal veterinarian:
“Both young and old horses are helped with weight gain, improved hair coats, and body condition. The hot and cold winters here in Texas take a toll on the horse’s body and EquiPride makes the difference.”
-Rob Thoni, DVM, Kilgore Veterinary Associates, TX

Testimonial from the owner of a 5-year-old mare:
“I was told that when a horse gets a dappled coat, no matter the color, it is a sign of a healthy horse. Well, they’re all getting that dappling back in their coats. I couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks for everything!”
-Donna via e-mail to Colorado distributor Lisa Rasmussen

Testimonial from the owner of a horse barn:
“My mare’s coat has dapples that we haven’t previously seen. My mom’s mare has quickly gotten her moiré dapples with color change as well.”
-Kathy, Trail Committee Chairman, CO

Testimonial from the owner of Stone Pine Farm:
“I love this product! We have beautiful shiny coats that are slick in the summer and short and dense in the winter.”
-Marilyn, Larkspur, CO

Testimonial from the owner of a thoroughbred gelding:
“Over the last winter his coat had become very dry and as it shed it fell out in clumps of dead hair with dry skin. Within a month on EquiPride, his coat had come back in shiny and without the strange dry patches!”
-Nicole, Boulder, CO

Testimonial from the owner of a young mare:
“My mare has never had much mane hair, and her tail was never extremely thick either. The other day, I grabbed a handful of mane to lead her and I realized how much hair I had to hang on to. Her mane seems to be thicker and her tail has filled out as well.”
-Susie via e-mail to Colorado distributor Lisa Rasmussen
