Alfalfa- Used for it’s easily assimilated nutrients like protein, magnesium, calcium, and energy. Alfalfa is great for growing horses, horses in high activity levels, and horses that may need to put on weight.
In rabbits, alfalfa also helps to provide easily assimilated nutrients like protein. Being a legume, alfalfa is a preferred feed for rabbits and tends to be more palatable than grass hays.
