“I rescued Buddy, a/k/a Cat Scratch Fefer (Palomino Saddlebred), in April 2012. The second photo was taken 6 months later in October. When I get a malnourished horse the first think they get is water and an EquiLix tub and a little grass hay. Eventually, I add grain and more hay. The EquiLix is what really saves them from their dire malnutrition. When they get the first tub they go through it rather quickly 4-6 weeks, then subsequent tubs are eaten much slower and last around 9 months.”
